You may recall that my cousin Josh was on the first episode of the Hound on the Run podcast after Charlie and I took him out for a night of coonhunting. Ever since then, Josh has been hounding me to get back out in the woods to follow some dogs. So that’s exactly what we did, except this time we weren’t following my coonhounds … we were following a three-pack of some year-old beagles!
Our friend Missy came along with us with two of her beagles, one of which is a littermate to Charlie’s newest addition to his pack. Missy is a dedicated hound hunter of the highest caliber and I love hanging out with her. Seeing how much she loves and cares for her dogs is truly inspiring. Believe it or not, after every hunt, each of her dogs gets their own roast beef sandwich from Arby’s … followed by hydrotherapy massage back at home. I wish I could be one of her beagles!
