About Me:

I’m the proud owner of four coonhounds, Finn, Coulee, Plum, and Roux. And yes, we hunt.

I’m completely obsessed with these dogs and Hound on the Run is where I share the deep-dive journey we’re on together as we train hard, hunt even harder, and live that sweet sweet hound dog lifestyle.

I’ll also be interviewing as many houndsmen who are willing to talk with me to distill and share as much hound-centric wisdom of the ages as I can for the reading pleasure of my fellow dog-brained brothers and sisters.

The history of hound hunting and dogs in general is endlessly fascinating to me so you can expect plenty of gushing over the “old way” in the coming writings.
